Building on the success of the GameBoy Advance, the GameBoy Advance SP features a revolutionary front-lit screen, making game play easy in any lighting condition. Powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, the system offers approximately 10 hours of game play when fully charged. As with the original GameBoy Advance, the SP model is backward compatible, allowing access to a massive library of games and accessories.
