A large part of the game is allowing a player to significantly customize and tune their car. Adjustments can be made in virtually every aspect of the engine, tire, and suspension, including bore and stroke, valve lift and timing, tire compounds and sizes, springs and damper rates, etc.
Then the player can race their car against another player or the CPU using accurate IHRA Drag Racing rules. The player can select and race individual tracks, or they can try to win the championship in Season mode.
